JL Billet's MBS™ (Modular Billet Stock) is a patented all aluminum modular buttstock designed to fit AR15 & AR10 Mil-Spec collapsible buffer tubes
We start with chunks of 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and precision CNC machine each piece to ensure an exact fit and perfect function. The MBS™ is a modular design that allows all components of the stock to be replaced if damaged, you can also change up the color and design to set your AR15 apart from the rest. We don't use any plastic on this stock other than the rubber base and cheek pads, this allows you to Cerakote or anodize whatever color you like to accessorize and customize to your specific needs. RAW STOCKS WILL SHIP UN-ASSEMBLED UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE.
The MBS™ is skeletonized to reduce weight while maintaining strength and giving a look like nothing else on the market. Weight without a buffer tube installed is only 16 oz. It's not for the weak guys who can't handle a few extra oz. in their rifle.
**For those of you in California, the MBS can be used as fixed stock as well with the use of a longer trigger set screw**

If this item is ordered in a raw condition (raw aluminum coating option) it will be shipped disassembled. If you would like the stock assembled please leave a note on the order.

Great quality. Solid and unique
I bought this for my full raw AR build and loved the quality. I put it together rather easily watching the YouTube video. I thought fitment was nice, it was a little loose around the carbine buffer tube but I put a thin strip of plastic from a water bottle and then slid it on and it's now very tight and still adjusts easily. I did run into a but if a tight fit with the actual aluminum trigger piece thing and it wanted to catch on the stock but I just used some sandpaper on the inside and noone will ever see it but me. Highly recommend and would also say use some mother's aluminum polish to really get her to shine up nice

Well made looks great...
This stock completes my "All Raw" aluminum build. It is well made and looks as good as it feels. The attention detail sets this stock apart. I gave it 4 stars because no instructions were sent for assembly. JL Billet will assemble for you if you ask. Being a mechanical engineer I always prefer DIY. I was able to figure it out in short order, but an exploded diagram would be helpful. Some of the screws are for decoration and it is not apparent until you put everything together. I also have a few extra parts that will need to assembled when I figure out where they go. Have them assemble it for you and this is a 5 star product.

The shipping was fast, looks as good as in the picture, Overall i like the style of it very comfortable.. Solid piece...only wish it was available in the contrast, but Thats me being picky..thanks JL i will be ordering more Products very soon.

i have to say that the mbs is at the top of quality and ascetics. The best part of this stock is that its all aluminum and wont crack or break like there platic counterparts.I havent seen any other buttstocks even close to this and if you combine it with any other JL BILLET furnitue your gonna be happy you did. Only thing i didnt like was when you press a certain color you want the web site dont generate the picture to go with it. Great job guys i have all your .308 furniture and my rifle is looking sweeter than any others ive come across

Awesome Stock
I saw the add in recoil magazine for your modular billet stock and had to have one. It will be the finishing touch on my custom built .308 rifle. Cant wait to get it coated and installed. Great value for the price. Beats plastic any day.
