JL Billet's MBS™ (Modular Billet Stock) is a patented all aluminum modular buttstock designed to fit AR15 & AR10 Mil-Spec collapsible buffer tubes
We start with chunks of 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and precision CNC machine each piece to ensure an exact fit and perfect function. The MBS™ is a modular design that allows all components of the stock to be replaced if damaged, you can also change up the color and design to set your AR15 apart from the rest. We don't use any plastic on this stock other than the rubber base and cheek pads, this allows you to Cerakote or anodize whatever color you like to accessorize and customize to your specific needs. RAW STOCKS WILL SHIP UN-ASSEMBLED UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE.
The MBS™ is skeletonized to reduce weight while maintaining strength and giving a look like nothing else on the market. Weight without a buffer tube installed is only 16 oz. It's not for the weak guys who can't handle a few extra oz. in their rifle.
**For those of you in California, the MBS can be used as fixed stock as well with the use of a longer trigger set screw**

If this item is ordered in a raw condition (raw aluminum coating option) it will be shipped disassembled. If you would like the stock assembled please leave a note on the order.

Light, Strong and AWESOME Looking!
I am very happy with this addition to my AR. It gives the rifle an awesome look and feel. I get a lot of compliments on it. The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful and it comes with several nice additions.

Jl billet mazing quality to detail look and finish..
I love the stock style and the design going into the (MBS) I purchase the recoil pad to go along with the product... I mount this one on my ultimate pig gun... And a second one for a new build I'm doing for feature film My only gripe on my .50 Beauwolf. When I'm shooting wit factory ammo the pin doesn't make positive contact maybe .125 or 1/8" below the surface and it was collapse under light fire.. I almost got scope eye a couple times.... Keep up the cool design. Maybe mine was fluke... Love to get this resolved at I would rate it 5 stars... Should handle recoil of 308 and .50 Beaowolf , close in felt recoil.. I ordered my stock in raw form and Just like all the JL billet products machine work and fit and finish is amazing. The stock is tight and locks in position and is very firm. great product all around function and form!!

Fantastic product
I am very impressed with this stock . Free shipping and was in my hands on the 3rd day! Beautiful design and amazing fit, however the finish has some blemishes that will need touched up. That being said very impressed with this product and company .

Piece of ART
I recently purchased this for a polished build and ordered the raw choice. It came in with 3 days, so super fast free shipping. It was in pieces and i was kinda clueless to put it together, got must of it together but called customer service and they helped me within minutes. I love the quality and lightness of it. I would recommend to anybody that only wants the highest quality, if you are not looking for high quality this is not for you. Also if you purchase this go ahead and buy their hand guard i did and the combo look great together

Nothing Like It Blows Everything Else Away!
Only complaint is I always get stopped everywhere I take my AR and I lose time shooting, people just have to hold it and stare at it. A little pricey no not really, you get what you pay for period. First class from fit to finish. Just put up the cash you will not be sorry.

Absolutely the Best Buttstock
I was absolutely floored when I received this buttstock. The quality and craftsmanship from its appearance to functionality was beyond outstanding. Tolerances are super tight...no rattle! I've never owned another stock that come close to this one. I use an 18 inch barrel and the MBS seems to have added a noticeable balance. It's worth every penny!

A beautiful piece , but not perfect.
The design and work are stunning . The only problem with the one I got ( just like Pic #8 ) was the finish , had scuff marks that take away from the total quality in my eyes . For that kind of money nothing short of perfect should go out the door . **We agree, if you would like to return it for a replacement we will exchange it.**

Precision at its best!
As a machinist of 35 years, the precision and attention to detail is unparalleled with this MBS stock. My .308 loves it. The best I've ever owned. Oh, and shipping was extremely fast.
