JL Billet 15" AR15 MLA Free-Float M-Lok Angled Handguard
The continuous top rail allows you to mount iron sights, optics and any other accessories without additional rail sections. The M-Lok system allows users to customize the handguard with rail sections and direct mount accessories. The handguard is constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and has an optional finish with a Mil-Spec type III hard coat black anodizing, see check box below to add hard anodize.
The MLA has a precision bore to fit the proprietary barrel nut which removes any unwanted play and ensures an exact fit!! Installation requires a 1-1/8" Crows Foot wrench (not included) for the barrel nut; standard AR-15 barrel nut wrenches will not work with this handguard system.

Best Handguard!!!
I was referred to JL by another customer when i started my AR build. I had a hard time finding a hanguard that fit my budget that was the custom look i was going for. WOW do these things look amazing! they are slim and because they are aluminum they are extremely lite weight. I am local and bought online so shipping was less than 48 hours. I will be making a trip to there shop to check out other items they offer!! Great work!

Top of the line
I've had hand guards from a few of the top rated companies in the industry. The JL Billet 15 inch Hangard is hands down my favorite to date. The quality is second to none and it's obvious this company pays very close attention to detail. Installation was a breeze. With that said the best part of this transaction for me was the customer service. Sent a question in by email and literally had an answer back in less than five minutes. Fantastic product and customer service
The handguard is perfect. It's precisely machined, gorgeous, lightweight, and seems to be made with great care. I purchased the bare 15" handguard (without anodization), and it weighs in at just 10.1 ounces with all mounting hardware included. JL Billet has been very friendly throughout my entire purchase, shipped it to me quickly even over the Black Friday weekend, and has practiced outstanding customer service. 10/10, would purchase again, and I've already recommended it to my friends.

Exactly What I Wanted
This was my 1st build and I researched each part diligently before "pulling the trigger" on ordering and so far this was my best purchase. Extremely lightweight and maticulously machined it's the perfect addition to my build. As another reviewer noted it's a little difficult finding the 1 1/8 inch crows foot wrench that isn't too thick to mate with the barrel nut. Possibly JL Billet could provide buyers with a link to one or just include the gap demension in the install diagram to ensure fit. Regardless of that minor hiccup the product is the best of its' kind I've seen and everyone who's seen it is envious. When I build my second one this is a must have item.

Great Product but...
Looks great, went on easy but I had a problem finding a 1 1/8 inch crows foot wrench for the barrel nut. Still haven't found one so I'm not sure if the torque is right. No problems with it however. Lots of complements on the style of the handguard.
